Clyde Waterfront has created a valuable new educational resource to support teachers in the Clyde Waterfront area and to connect local young people with all the exciting developments happening along the river.
The site, which contains over 200 lession plans, is ideal for teachers looking for material to use with pupils from Primary 6 to Secondary 3.
This is the first time a national regeneration project has been used to create a comprehensive teaching resource linked to the Scottish Government’s Enterprise in Education programme in which business and education work together to give children and young people positive attitudes to work and life.
The Education website provides:
- A curriculum based teaching resource based on the River Clyde
- 200 lesson plans linked to the Scottish Government’s Enterprise in Education programme
- A way of connecting children with the present developments along the river as well as the past
- An exciting and relevant context for learning
