Clydebuilt Museum

An ideal way to build a complete picture  of shipbuilding on the Clyde - the people, materials and skills involved - is to visit Clydebuilt, part of the Scottish Maritime Museum. There’s plenty of hands-on activity. You can also see the oldest still floating Clydebuilt iron ship, the MV Kyles, just back from a refit. You can see more ships and original material by making an excursion to the main Scottish Maritime Museum site at Irvine.

There is a riverside walkway at the back of the museum. Turning left you can follow the path along the waterfront into Clyde View Park
